The game focuses on its social aspects, and parents of children will find many kid-safe permissions and filters on chat-rooms to keep the game’s content age appropriate, as well as game moderators that keep watch for suspicious activity. Players will find single and multiplayer mini-games throughout the game world, as well as shops that sell all sorts of content focused on making a player’s personality shine through their avatar, profile, and home. Even having the ability to make your own chatroom/hangout that could be decorated like the ones in IMVU.Fantage, short for Fantastic Age, is a social MMO for children aged 6-14 that features cute, customizable avatars in a fantasy world full of mini-games. I'd also enjoy if you could have an open world environment, allowing you to fully customize your house, an area for your pets. I know this is just a pipe dream, but if Fantage survived today, I would like for it to be a full blown RPG with a 3D environment, much more in-depth minigames, quests, a much bigger map, etc. Im Really happy that some of the minigames were recovered after Fantage shut down Slightly disappointed that my favorites were not recovered, And that music would not play On some of the minigames, Anyways Still happy that SOME are on this page. ![]() Further clogging their user base with unused accounts.Īnyways, your article was very informative and reading Fantage's downfall, from the mismanagement to the server/security issues and what not was both interesting and sad at the same time. But from what I remember, it was common to merely make a fake account, play for an hour and or get membership for a short amount of time and then cancel. I suspect that the Invite-A-Friend medal was part of the reason why they were to able to reach 30M+ users. Be sure to get the Discord app to keep in touch with other Fantagians while you. I understand that the game needed money to continue operating, but still. Fantage gave before officially shutting down their once successful game. There was basically nothing you could do without a membership or ecoins. But by far, my biggest problem with the game was its treatment of non-members. I remembered in 2010/2011 when people would do "dirty stuff" in user barns. The only thing worthwhile for a Premium Membership was honestly having a high level/medals (if you cared about that stuff). With people being able to get 1M+ ecoins without actually having to buy them anymore (just sell an eCoined item you had for a high price), and now you could now enjoy things like having pets, houses, clothes, etc by simply getting them from ecoins, devalued having a Premium membership. ![]() Your point on them accumlating debt in 2012/2013 makes me wonder if the fact that Trade-N-Sell making it easier to get so many ecoins very easily tanked sales. Sure, it was fun when you could get every item in the game now, but there was a lot of scamming and when getting 1M+ stars and eCoins became much more easier, I knew that there would have to be something done to fix the devaluing of the game's currency. When the Trade-N-Sell came out, I knew it meant that major changes were going to happen to the game.
